Bring your old car batteries, waste oil, paint thinner and other household hazardous items to the Wastemobile this Friday through Monday (October 24 – 26) in Bothell.  It will be in the parking lot of the Seattle Times building, 19200 120th Ave. NE, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.  This will be the last Wastemobile visit for this year.

This is the 25th Anniversary of the Wastemobile. In that time it’s collected more than 32 million pounds of household hazardous waste.  Thanks to all for keeping all these hazardous wastes out of the our sewers, our landfills and our environment.

This service is free for King County residents and qualifying businesses. It has already been paid for in your garbage and sewer utility fees.

The traveling Wastemobile will return next spring.  In the meantime, please take your unwanted hazardous products and wastes to one of our permanent locations.
