Artist’s studios and secondary schools routinely use hazardous chemicals and generate hazardous wastes, yet are seldom given guidance on proper management of those chemicals by inspectors or technical outreach staff. These two webinars will provide insight into the chemicals used by schools and artists, the risks they pose to human health and the environment and ways to help these “industries” reduce those risks.
The webinar is FREE to NAHMMA members. Non-members can attend but will be required to pay a fee of $75 or become a NAHMMA member at the desired membership level. Memberships start at $75.
The presenter, Dave Waddell, is NAHMMA’s current President and, as an Environmental Investigator with the King County, he conducts site inspections and provides workshops for artists and school administrators and teachers.
